Chhaava Crossed the 300 Crore Milestone within 10 Days in India

A spectacle and a cinematic storm – Chhaava’s blockbuster reign continues. Filmmaker Laxman Utekar’s historical action drama Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna witnessed an extraordinary response from audiences, setting new benchmarks for Bollywood releases.

Interestingly, the film’s business was slightly impacted by the IND vs PAK cricket match on Sunday, as fans tuned in to the Champions Trophy. Despite this, Chhaava still managed an impressive ₹41.10 crore on its second Sunday. Now, with its second weekend wrapped up, the film has achieved another major feat crossing the ₹300 crore mark, st.anding tall at ₹334.51 crore

Until now, Vicky Kaushal’s highest-grossing film was Uri: The Surgical Strike, which collected ₹245.36 crore. This landmark collection makes Chhaava Vicky Kaushal’s first-ever ₹300 crore grosser. The film has also surpassed Bajrangi Bhaijaan and War, becoming the 13th all-time highest ₹300 crore grosser in Bollywood history.

The film’s performance during the crucial weekdays will determine its final box office tally. If Chhaava continues its momentum, it could enter the elite ₹400 crore club, solidifying its place among the biggest Bollywood blockbusters of all time. With a reported budget of ₹130 crore, the film is a massive commercial success for Maddock Films.

Hit ya Flop rated the movie 3.7 out of 5 stars, labeling it “Very Good” and wrote, “A Roaring Tribute to Maratha Valor.  It is a visual spectacle, with its brilliant battle sequences deserves to be experienced on the big screen.
