PLOT : A search for Sejal’s engagement ring makes Harry understand love and relationships better,
while Sejal experiences newfound freedom, security and solace in Harry’s company.
MOVIE REVIEW : Imtiaz Ali has disappointed this time also with an another wafer thin plot and predictable story, his flavor is missing from the movie.
Imtiaz Ali always makes you fall in love with his characters but Harry & Sejal are not one of them.
First half of the movie is funny and entertaining too some extend. But the second half gets a little bit boring and
dragged which has lost his grip over audience. The viewers will find this also as a same story again and again, nothing is new in this film too.
SRK and Anushka’s chemistry is good but even though the acting was good by the lead pair due to the lame script this movie has failed at so many levels.
The dialogues and story line were a cliche and even songs are not so good as expected in Ali’s movie.
Anushka Sharma is good here as usual but her gujju accent is not so impressive.
The run time of 2 hours and 30 minutes is also a drawback the editing part could have been better here and this can be made up to 2 hours only.
The only good thing is cinematography, showcasing Europe from Amsterdam to Prague to Budapest and Lisbon.
At last, this one is restricted to die hard fan of Shah Rukh, but still its really is a big disappointment to fans as it didn’t met their expectations, not be able to appeal to all sections of the audience.
