After a series of Flops finally Bollywood have a year’s fifth successful movie. Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Divyendu Sharma, Sudhir Pandey and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha enters in 100 Crore club with its 2nd Friday Collection. Also it becomes the most profitable Bollywood film of the year 2017.
After an excellent first week at the box office, Toilet Ek Prem Katha has been entered in the second week and the movie still has a hold over the audience. Including the overseas collections the film’s worldwide gross collection has crossed 150 Crore mark. The Budget of the film is mere ₹ 18 Crore and ₹ 15 Crore for Prints & Advertising cost, without the fees of Akshay Kumar as he is taking the shares of profit.
