Vivek Agnihotri’s blockbuster The Kashmir Files becomes the first Hindi film to cross the ₹ 250 Crore mark at the Indian box office post-pandemic. Despite facing stiff competition from SS Rajamouli’s directorial RRR, the sleeper hit of the year has achieved yet another huge milestone.
The Kashmir Files stars Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumar, Pallavi Joshi, Chinmay Mandlekar, Prakash Belawadi, Puneet Issar, Atul Srivastava, and Bhasha Sumbli. It was theatrically released worldwide on 11th March 2022.
Hit Ya Flop gave it 4 out of 5 stars and rated it as ‘Must Watch’. The movie began its theatrical run with ₹ 3.55 Crore. The historical drama film has collected ₹ 250.73 Crore in India and ₹ 337.23 Crore worldwide within 31 days of its release. The film is still running on 1100 screens in its fifth week.
