Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif enters into the 100 Crore club. The movie began its theatrical run with ₹ 26.29 Crore. The action film has collected ₹ 102.81 Crore in India and crosses ₹ 150 Crore gross worldwide within five days of its release. It becomes Akshay Kumar‘s 15th 100 Crore club film.
The movie directed by Rohit Shetty, also stars Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Vivan Bhatena, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer, and Jaaved Jaaferi in supporting roles. The film is produced by Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Picturez, Dharma Productions, and Cape Of Good Films, based on a script by Yunus Sajawal, Farhad Samji, Sanchit Bendre, and Vidhi Ghodgadnkar and an original story by Shetty. The movie mark as the fourth installment of Shetty’s Cop Universe.
Hit Ya Flop gave it 3 out of 5 stars and rated it as ‘Good’. The film was released worldwide on 5th November 2021 coinciding with Diwali across 3519 screens in India. It is estimated to be made on a budget of ₹ 150 Crore including the Production and Prints & Advertising Cost.
