PLOT: The film is about Ravi’s depression and how he helps a young woman’s encounter with a godman, who is out to expose this fake guru running an ashram. Its a revenge story where Aaraya is seeking revenge from a godman, she is assisted by Dutt, who is reprising his role of a taxi driver from the original 1991 release.

Sadak 2 is a romantic action drama film directed by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by Mukesh Bhatt under their banner Vishesh Films. The movie is the sequel to Sadak (1991). The film marks Mahesh Bhatt’s return as a director after 20 years. This is the first time that Mahesh Bhatt has collaborated with daughter Alia Bhatt for a movie.

The film’s trailer was released on 12th August 2020 on YouTube, and within a week, it became the second most-disliked video on the website due to vote brigading.

The shooting began on 18 May 2019 and the film was shot in Ooty, Mumbai, Mysore, and Uttarakhand. It was initially scheduled for release on 25th March 2020 but was pushed to 10th July 2020. It was again pulled from the release schedule as the shooting was delayed because of COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in India.

On 29th June 2020, the streaming service Disney+ Hotstar conducted a virtual press conference, where Alia Bhatt announced that the film was released on Disney+ Hotstar exclusively.
The film was premiered on 28th August 2020 on Disney+ Hotstar VIP.

A horrendous film with a poorly written & predictable plot. The lead casts and all the supporting actors have delivered pathetic performances. Awful music, shoddy screenplay, and terrible editing.
