PLOT: As the Panchayat elections approach, both Pradhan and Bhushan gangs engage in a fierce battle to uplift their public image. Navigating the murky waters of Phulera politics, Abhishek does his best to maintain his objectivity.
Panchayat Season 1 premiered on Amazon Prime Video on 3rd April 2020. The series received positive responses from critics as well as viewers. At the inaugural ceremony of the Filmfare OTT Awards, the web series won Best Comedy Series, Best Actor (Comedy Series), Best Supporting Actor (Comedy Series), and Best Supporting Actress (Comedy Series).
Panchayat Season 2 was announced on 28th April 2022 after the completion of the production. On 2nd May 2022, it was announced that the second season would premiere on 20th May 2022. However, Amazon Prime Video released all the episodes on 18th May 2022, two days earlier than its actual premiere date because the show was leaked on Telegram and Torrent sites.
Panchayat Season 3 was originally scheduled to premiere on 15 January 2024 but was postponed. The release date was then set as March 2024 but was again postponed. It premiered on 28 May 2024.

WEB SERIES REVIEW: Sachiv ji is back and so is the most-anticipated show! The new installment Panchayat, masterfully intertwines political rivalry with love and humor. Though Season 3 occasionally paces itself more leisurely, it compensates with a consistently high level of entertainment. It remains a must-watch for fans and newcomers alike, promising to entertain and touch hearts with its charming storytelling and relatable characters.
The writers have successfully preserved the show’s signature simplicity, relatability, and sharp satire, ensuring it remains as engaging as ever. One of the standout elements of this season is the director’s approach of bringing the supporting cast to the forefront and allowing the lead characters to take a backseat. The emotional depth brought to the show through Prahlad’s character, especially his interactions with Amma Ji, stands out as an emotional highlight.
Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Chandan Roy, and Sanvikaa, continue to impress with their strong portrayals. Characters like Binod, Madhav, Kranti Devi and played by Durgesh Kumar, Ashok Pathak, and Sunita Rajwar continue to tickle the audience’s funny bones, ensuring that the series retains its light-hearted charm. Each actor, from the leads to those with the smallest roles, delivers commendable performances. The supporting cast shines with well-written characters. Abha Sharma as Amma Ji and Amit Kumar Maurya as Bam Bahadur deliver performances that are both endearing and memorable.
