Munjya starring Sharvari, Mona Singh, and Abhay Verma hits a half-century at the box office. The horror comedy film began its theatrical journey with ₹ 4.21 Crore and has collected ₹ 55.75 Crore within ten days of its release in India. The film refuses to slow down despite the release of Kartik Aaryan starrer Chandu Champion. The film’s strong performance is expected to receive an additional boost with the extended holiday on Monday for Eid al-Adha.
Munjya is the fourth film of Maddock Supernatural Universe, following Stree, Roohi, and Bhediya. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Dinesh Vijan & Amar Kaushik under Maddock Films, Munjya carries forward the unique blend of horror and comedy. Hit Ya Flop gave it 3 out of 5 stars & rated it as ‘Good’ and wrote “The blend of horror & comedy is well supported by cinematography, effective CGI work, and impressive performances by the lead.”
