Kannada movies are taking Box Office by storm. After KGF Chapter 2, James, Vikrant Rona, 777 Charlie, and now Kantara witnessing an unprecedented run. Sandalwood’s latest Blockbuster Kantara written, directed & starring Rishab Shetty is creating history at the Indian box office.
Originally, the film was released on 30th September only in the Kannada language. After a fair start in Karnataka, it got positive responses from the critics too, and phenomenal word-of-mouth from the viewers. With the craze and demand among the audience, it is currently being played in 3 more languages- Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. Ever since its arrival in dubbed languages, the film showing tremendous growth.
The action thriller film, which saw an opening of ₹ 1.98 Crore, collected ₹ 19.24 Crore on October 16. Thus, it has shown a growth of more than 900 percent on Day 17. It has crossed ₹ 100 Crore mark in India and currently stands with a collection of ₹ 113 Crore nett. (all versions). And Kantara has collected ₹ 142.84 Crore gross worldwide and it will soon cross the ₹ 150 Crore mark globally.
