Jigra Lifetime Collection

The action thriller Jigra, starring Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina, Vivek Gomber, and Manoj Pahwa, struggled to make a strong impact at the box office despite a promising start. Opening with ₹ 4.55 Crore, the film has collected an estimated ₹ 31 Crore net in India and approximately ₹ 57 Crore gross worldwide by the end of its theatrical run.

Directed by Vasan Bala and co-written with Debashish Irengbam, Jigra is backed by notable producers Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, and Soumen Mishra under the banners of Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine Productions. Hit Ya Flop rated it 2.7 out of 5 stars, describing it as “Average.” The review commended the cast, particularly Alia Bhatt’s gripping performance, but noted that while the first half is engaging, the plot becomes linear, and the second half falters with a prolonged climax.

Released on 11th October 2024 across 2000+ screens in India, Jigra was produced with a substantial budget of ₹ 90 Crore, including production and promotional costs. Despite its impressive cast and powerful direction in the initial half, Jigra ultimately struggled to meet box office expectations.
