Hichki starring Rani Mukerji has closed its first week on a great note. The movie which had a average opening of ₹ 3.30 Crore showed the impressive growth on the weekend and witnessed a strong hold on weekdays too.
The film has collected ₹ 26.10 Crore in seven days of its release, now holds the record of the fifth highest opening week collection this year followed by Padmaavat (₹ 114 Crore), Raid (₹ 63.05 Crore), PadMan (₹ 62.87 Crore) and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (₹ 45.94 Crore)
Hichki marks Rani Mukerji’s come back movie after four years, she was last seen in Mardaani (2014). Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, it is a story of a teacher afflicted with Tourttee Syndrome, who decides to fulfill all her dreams despite hiccups from life.
