Movie Review: Gunjan Saxena take-offs well but landed unsteadily. The film suffers from the unappealing second half, the makers are failed to deliver a compelling biographical drama film. The Kargil war scenes in the climax doesn’t offer anything captivate about the Kargil girl and the Kargil war.
Sharan Sharma’s debut direction is decent. Janhvi Kapoor’s acting skills are still in progress, she has given a fine performance in quiet moments but when it comes to intense scenes, she has a long way to go. Pankaj Tripathi portraits a supporting father brilliantly. Vineet Kumar Singh and Manav Vij are good in their supporting roles.
Manush Nandan’s cinematography captures the location of Georgia very well for the film as it has a resemblance to the Kashmir valley.
