Dream Girl 2 starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday entered the 100 Crore club. The movie began its theatrical run with ₹ 10.69 Crore. The comedy film has been facing tough competition ever since its release from Gadar 2 and now Jawan, but still it manages to cross ₹ 100 Crore in India within 18 days of its release and emerges as Ayushmann Khurrana fourth century after Bala.
The film is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Ekta Kapoor & Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures. The movie also stars Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Manjot Singh, Vijay Raaz, Abhishek Banerjee, Rajpal Yadav, Ranjan Raj, and Seema Pahwa.
Hit Ya Flop gave it 2.7 out of 5 stars & rated it as ‘Average’ and wrote “Raaj Shaandilyaa’s direction was decent but he could not create the same magic with Dream Girl 2. He manages to deliver a one-time-watch comedy film due to its quirky characters, their performances, and the witty one-liners.”
