YRF’s Bunty Aur Babli 2 starring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and introducing Sharvari Wagh got a poor start at the Indian box office. The movie began its theatrical run with ₹ 2.60 Crore. The comedy film has collected ₹ 8.30 Crore in India within three days of its release.
The movie written & directed by debutante Varun V. Sharma, also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Yashpal Sharma, Asrani, Gopal Datt, Prem Chopra, Lankesh Bhardwaj, and Neeraj Sood in supporting roles. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra.
Hit Ya Flop gave it 1.5 out of 5 stars and rated it as ‘Not Watchable’. Initially planned for release in June 2020 and then in April 2021, the film was postponed on both occasions due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India. It was finally released in cinemas on 19th November 2021.
Bunty Aur Babli 2 got released across 1800 screens in India and is estimated to be made on a budget of ₹ 30 Crore including the Production and Prints & Advertising Cost.
