The most awaited Kannada film of this year The Villain teaser has crossed 1 million views on the Youtube in just 16 hours. The makers of the film had released two teasers of 2 minute long featuring Abhinaya Chakravarthy Kichcha Sudeep and Karunaada Chakravarthi Shiva Rajkumar. The film is about a villager who dreams to become an actor.

The Chief Minister of Karnataka, HD Kumaraswamy was present to release the clips at GT Mall, Bengaluru yesterday. The makers of the film even revealed that they are planning to launch the film’s audio next month. The movie has already fetched ₹ 5.4 Crore as Hindi rights and 50% of the movie is filled with graphic works.
The Villian team had collected ₹ 500 from each for the launch and decided to help the struggling filmmakers in Sandalwood by handing over the event collection to the filmmakers who are in dire need of financial assistance.
The film is expected to hit theaters in mid-August.
