Yudhra, the latest Bollywood release starring Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, and Malavika Mohanan, opened to below-average reviews. Directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under Excel Entertainment, the film had high expectations but has struggled to make a significant impact. Hit Ya Flop gave it 2 out of 5 stars & rated it as ‘Below Average’ and wrote “the film is let down by poor writing, forgettable music, and weak storytelling”.
It was a disappointing run at the box Office for Yudhra despite National Cinema Day boost. One of the major hurdles for the film is the competition from other ongoing releases. Stree 2 continues to draw strong crowds, while Tumbbad, is gaining momentum as a second-choice option for moviegoers. This has made it difficult for Yudhra to stand out and capture the attention of the masses.
Yudhra did see a temporary boost in collections thanks to the reduced ticket prices on National Cinema Day. However, the film’s fortunes dipped sharply after the initial bump, signaling weak word-of-mouth and a lack of sustained audience interest. In its opening weekend, Yudhra managed to collect ₹ 8.77 Crore net, a figure well below expectations. The film’s performance further declined during the weekdays, bringing its total first-week collection to ₹ 11.06 Crore net.
With such dismal numbers, Yudhra is expected to wrap up its box office journey with a lifetime collection of around ₹ 13 Crore solidifying its place as a commercial flop. The movie failed to resonate with audiences and is headed for a disappointing end at the box office.
