Prashanth Neel’s directorial, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire starring Prabhas in the lead has surpassed ₹ 400 Crore gross globally and is now setting its sights on the remarkable ₹ 500 crore milestone. This action-thriller has taken the Indian cinema world by storm, creating ripples with its outstanding performance on the big screen.
Salaar has shattered records, and scored the biggest opening for an Indian film this year. It has outperformed heavyweight releases like Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan and Pathan, Vijay starring Leo, and Rajinikanth starrer Jailer. Hit Ya Flop gave it 2.7 out of 5 stars & rated it as ‘AVG’ and wrote “A film made only for high-octane action lovers and not for those looking for engaging screenplay & depth in the narrative. Prabhas, Prithviraj, & other actors deliver a commendable performance.”
The movie is running in theaters in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. Adding to the excitement, the makers have announced the sequel, titled Salaar: Part 2 – Shauryanga Parvam. This revelation has ignited anticipation among fans, promising a continuation of the gripping narrative. The film was released across 6000 screens in India and is estimated to be made on a budget of ₹ 170 Crore including the Production and Prints & Advertising Cost.
